We walked route D last monday. When we went up the mountain, we ran into a group of friends ;) They all had a bell around there necks, so it was a funny sound! Whole Castellane will be full with sheep in June, because then they are going into the mountains for the summer.

There where some wonderfull people who walked with me. Here they are in frond of a waterfall. The walls of the house are eating-away by the salt that's in the water!! It's wonderfull tu see and you can drink the water if you dare..!

We walked passed the Verdon. There was a nice place to sit down in the grass and rest a bit with a botle of water and/or something to munch.

Offcourse you can't only walk or drive next to the Verdon, you can also experience it!!!

for the beginning of the season, we took a small group to the Forest House of castellane up to 1030 meters altitude.

It is known as the C Walk (from A B C D list of 4 walks given for free at reception) and takes 3 hours 1/2.
